Hi, my name is Aletha Moody. My husband and I live on
a 10 acre farm in Mayville Michigan. We breed
and raise Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats. We show our
goats at professional goat shows and they are registered in
3 registries. This past year , 2008, we decided to create
goat milk soap with the wonderful milk my does produce.
In the near future we will also be offering, goat milk
lotions, bath salts, shampoos and sugar scrubs.
Our fragrance's are always changing. When we use coloring, we cannot guarantee that the next batch of soap will look exactly like the one shown in the picture. The pictures are only there to give you an idea of what that particular soap may look like. Keep in mind that these soaps are all being hand made, using the finest ingredients. Keep checking back to see what new products we may have added. The soap that we are working on now is a soap for hunters. It is a dirt scent These soaps will not be available until sometime in August. Because we are a "mom and pop" operation, well ok, we are a "mom, pop, and 2 teen aged kids" operation, it does take approximately 8 weeks for our soaps to be made and cured.
We strive to use only the best ingredients in our products.

Recently I received several bars of your soap as a gift at my nieces baby shower. I love it! I have used your soap this winter and found that I did not need the bottles of body moisturizer that I usually use during the winter months. I also use a bar in my bathroom as hand soap and found the same thing...no need to use moisturizer after you wash your hands! My favorite is the "Butt Naked", so far. We came across your booth at the
Clarkston Craft Show this past Spring and bought a bar of
your African Black Soap as both my 17 year old daughter and
I are constantly fighting acne. You swore it would make a
difference. Boy were you right! It’s the best $5 I have
spent. You can bet we’ll be looking for you again at the

My son uses this soap and his acne has greatly
improved. Does it have any benefits other than helping

Mrs. Moody,
I purchased a bottle of Foaming African
Black Soap at the Frankenmuth Show this
past weekend. I had gotten something on
my face that had made my skin itch.
After washing my face the first time the
itching stopped. I have now been using
the soap for 3 days, my face is
completely itch free. My skin is softer
and feels firmer. Thank you so much.
I purchased a jar of Almond Honey cream
last year. I use it on my hands and
feet, My toe nails were soft and
crack, after regular use, my nails look
great.

I need to order three of the acne
soaps - do you still make them in
the pump bottle? My son LOVES this
stuff and his face looks fabulous -
I soooo wish I would have take a
before picture...darn it! And trust
me, Marc is not one to stick with
ANYTHING very long (he just turned
18 and kids that age have an
attention span of about 6.4
seconds).

I have an auto immune disease
called lupus. My face and body have
been a mess for years. Part of it
was lupus and part of it was the
meds. My skin is glowing, no acne,
my sores on my body are healing. I
am starting to look like my self
again. Plus I think my face looks
younger. After years of looking and

look at a mirror again.

About a year ago I purchased a jar
of Shea Butter from you and and used
it with amazing results. This shea
butter is only filtered and not
refined, which keeps the "good
stuff" in it.
I have had severe psoriasis for 50
plus years and have used everything:
UVB, PUVA, anthralin, steroids,
methotrexate, and biologic
medicines. Some worked OK, others
not at all, and only a couple were
really effective but did not produce
almost to complete clearing. When I
added your shea butter to the rest
of my regimen the plaques either
smoothed out or went a way --WOW IS
THAT NICE!
Your shea butter has worked better
that the shea butter I bought in the
health food store and I believe that
it is because yours is unrefined
while the commercial stuff is
refined to make it look white in the
jar and to take away any scent.
Like I said before, the refining
process removes either all or some
of the "good stuff" depending upon
the degree of refinement and
therefore reduced its effectiveness
for me.
This is great stuff and I will
continue to use it.

just wanted to write to tell
you how much I love your soaps.
I visited your booth in Houghton
Lake , MI over 4th of July
weekend 3 times.
I did by some scented soaps...
butt naked, dragon's blood, and
lilac. I absolutely love all
three, especially the butt naked
and dragons blood.
On the last day that I came to
your booth I decided to buy a
bar of the african black soap,
WOW! I bought it for myself with
the intention of sharing with my
14 year old son.
This product is amazing! So
amazing that I find myself
worried about what I will do
when you retire. Since July 3rd
I have been using it and I have
watched my pores get smaller and
smaller, I actually have less
visible pores on my face. I also
love that the bar of soap seems
to really be lasting also.
I just wanted to thank you for a
great product! Keep making it
and I will keep buying!

Thank you for your swift reply! Yes you may use my e-mail for your
testimony page. Please include the skin issues my daughter has are acne
(face and body), oily skin and eczema, and the Black African Soap helps
them all! I have also used it and find that it helps to soften the skin
as well. It is very deceiving in that it doesn't sting, or smell bad or
dry out skin so I guess as American product freaks we think that at
least one of those must be present in order for the product to work.
Well it does work, gently and completely. Thank you for all your help.
